We started Kosmoy after hearing one too many versions of the same story:

“We built some great AI pilots in Python. Now we need guardrails, a dashboard, and—please—some control over the bill.”

A few months later, we’re happy to share that S&P Global Market Intelligence (451 Research) has initiated analyst coverage on Kosmoy.

S&P Global’s coverage captures that same idea. Their note frames Kosmoy as a platform for large organizations that already have multiple AI projects running and now need a way to centralize control, standardize safety, and actually see what’s happening across apps.

GenAI Analyst Coverage
S&P Global Report on Kosmoy AI Gateway and AI Governance Platform

What the report highlights

  • One platform, three jobs. Build apps, manage how they touch models, and monitor what they cost and how they behave.

  • Pragmatic control. An LLM gateway brings basics like centralized billing, model swap-outs, and safety policies into one layer.

  • Real-world guardrails. Enforcement options tied to regulations (EU AI Act, Bank of England SS1/23) plus checks for toxic language, prompt injection, PII, and hallucinations .

  • Run it where you need it. SaaS on AWS today, but also deployable as a private cloud/on-prem install for stricter environments.

Kosmoy in plain English

  • AI Gateway: The “middle lane” between your apps and models. Set policies, enforce guardrails, route requests, and keep billing tidy.

  • Insights Dashboard: Track costs, usage, and feedback; catch unsafe behavior; compare performance.

  • Agent Builder: Templates and integrations so you don’t start from scratch. Connect to providers like Google Gemini, Anthropic, Mistral, or open-source options like Llama 3. Deploy to Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, and more.

Why this matters now

Most large companies ran lots of successful pilots. Then they hit reality: dozens of apps, different models, no shared controls. That’s how you end up with great demos and sleepless nights.

Our view—echoed by many customers—is that governance and observability are what make AI boring enough to be safe, and safe enough to scale .

And about costs: giving every employee a pricey seat license feels simple until the bill lands. A usage-based approach—with routing that picks the right model for the job—often makes more sense .

A thank-you—and back to work

Thank you to the S&P Global analysts for the thoughtful look at our work, and to the customers who keep sending us the honest “here’s what actually hurts” feedback. We’ll keep building the seat belts, the speedometer, and, yes, the fuel gauge.
